Hi there! I am a Bell Burnell postdoctoral fellow at ASTRON and interested in all things stellar at metric wavelengths, especially such things related to star-planet interactions. My work has been focused on understanding exo-solar space weather from a multi-wavelength perspective, and has included designing and commissioning optical and low-frequency instrumentation for dedicated monitoring. You can learn more about the high-precision, optical photometry instrument I built for this science on the Flarescope page!
I’m always excited to share science with folks, especially middle and high schoolers. While at Caltech, I was involved in the star-gazing lectures, observing outreach, and event organizing. Outside of Caltech, I’ve been able to engage the public through the Owens Valley Radio Observatory lecture series, the Pasadena Astro on Tap, and Astrobites.
